Our computer technology client require a Tech Support Specialist. The specialist will provide support for and maintain the client`s corporate infrastructure, which consists of a complex network of LAN`s at 5 locations, VPN`s, RAS servers, firewalls, internet proxies. The systems run a variety of Unix and Microsoft OS`s; corporate services include Exchange, SQL db servers, IIS web servers, data backup systems, secure authentication, and DNS. Other tasks include handling day-to-day installations of software and hardware; maintenance and upgrading of systems; technical housekeeping and admin of systems; and approximately one day per week providing help desk support. The successful candidate will have previous tech support experience; a good academic record (3 B`s at A level); a degree in any discipline; good communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
